You would like to start tufting but don't know how, where to start and how it works? 

In our Beginners Tufting Workshops Jenni teaches you everything about the tufting process in one day.

This workshop takes place at Dynamo Zurich or Studio177(next to the Viaduktbögen). You'll get the locationinfo with the infomail one week before your workshop.

The Workshop starts at 9:00. Workshop ends between 5-6:00 in the evening.

After our Workshop you can work independently and know all the basic information to tuft your dreams.

What we do in the course:
- You will learn about the structure of a tufted carpet.
- You will learn how to stretch the tufting frame correctly.
- You will make your first tufting attempts and get to know the different tufting machines.
- You will learn all the tips and tricks from Jenni.

- and of course you tufted your first own rug!

- Finally I show you how to finish everything at the back and how to glue the rug.

The rug will then dry over night. I will send you the rug incl. the final backing the following week and you can finish the rug with the help of this tutorial:

The maximum size of the rug you will tuft is 70x50cm. However, you are completely free in the shape and design. We work with 100% New Zealand carpet wool and Acrylic yarn.

To transfer your design on to your Tuftingcloth you can draw it freehand, on to paper on the day and then transfer or if you have something more complicated we can project it on the the stretched tufting cloth.

We are tufting with wool and acrylic yarn in this workshop. If you are interested in a bigger selection of yarns you might wanna book a workshop in our Studio.
