2. Scope & Contract Formation

1. These T&C apply to all orders via www.tuftinglove.com with delivery or performance location in Switzerland.
2. Our product listings are non-binding invitations to order goods or workshops.
3. The contract is concluded once you click "Buy now" at checkout and we confirm your order by e-mail.

3. Prices, Payment Methods & Due Date

• All prices in CHF incl. 8.1% VAT, no hidden surcharges.
• Payment methods: Credit Card, TWINT, Klarna, PayPal – no additional fees.
• Amounts are due immediately upon order; statutory rule is "delivery against payment" or immediate due date unless otherwise agreed.
• For confirmed B2B accounts (manual activation, invoice payment), payment is due immediately upon receipt.
• In case of default, 5% p.a. default interest and the following dunning fees may be charged:
  • 1st reminder: CHF 20
  • 2nd reminder: CHF 30
  • 3rd reminder/debt collection: CHF 40
• Special arrangements for international deliveries:
  • EU: Orders within the EU are shipped from our fulfillment partner in Germany. As we participate in the OSS scheme, the local VAT of the destination country is charged in each case. No import or customs costs apply.
  • Norway: Delivered DDP – all customs and taxes included.
  • UK: Delivered DDP if the cart value is equal to or higher than GBP 135 – no further charges apply on import. Below that value, import taxes and customs duties are paid locally to the shipping service provider on delivery.
  • Other non-EU countries: No VAT charged at purchase. Import VAT, import taxes and customs duties are borne by the buyer and payable locally to the shipping service provider.

4. Retention of Title

Goods remain our property until fully paid. We reserve the right to register retention of title per Art. 715 et seq. CC.

5. Delivery, Shipping Costs & Transfer of Risk

• Risk transfers on handover to the carrier (Art. 185 CO).

6. Voluntary Return Policy (Online Purchases)

We grant a voluntary 14 calendar days return policy, excluding:

• Used or opened yarns, cut-to-size fabrics, custom orders.
• Return shipping is at your expense.

Refund options:
For valid withdrawals and voluntary returns, you can choose between:

• Refund to the original payment method
• Credit as store credit valid 24 months, non-transferable and non-refundable

After receipt and inspection, the refund or store credit is issued within 14 days.

7. Statutory Warranty & Guarantee

Exclusion of warranty claims in case of misuse

Warranty applies only to defects present at transfer of risk (Art. 197 CO). Not covered: defects caused by operation, installation or maintenance errors, misuse, third-party intervention, improper consumables, or external factors. Tuftinglove may request product inspection; costs charged to customer if defect caused by excluded reasons. Burden of proof lies with buyer (Art. 201 para. 1 CO).

8. Workshops & Courses

• Binding upon payment.
• Cancellation by participant:
  • Up to 1 month before course: free of charge
  • Up to 14 days before course: free rescheduling, cancellation costs 100% of course fee
  • From 14 days before course: 50% course fee for rescheduling, 100% cancellation fee
• Medical certificate exception: Free rescheduling with medical certificate, no refund.
• Substitute participant: Allowed at any time, free of charge.
• Cancellation by Tuftinglove: If minimum number not reached, cancellation up to 3 days before course. Refund or free rescheduling.

9. Digital Products & Copyright

All digital content (e-books, guides, videos, sewing patterns, digital templates) is copyright protected and may be used for private, non-commercial purposes only. Any reproduction, sharing, distribution or making publicly available is prohibited and may have legal consequences. Rights of use transfer to you only after full payment.

10. Liability

Limited liability for slight negligence up to order/course value. No limitation for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury.

11. Data Protection

Data processed per Privacy Policy. Data shared with Fulfillment Europe GmbH for contract performance (Art 6 para 1 b, Art 28 GDPR).

12. Applicable Law & Venue

Swiss law applies exclusively. Venue is 5034 Suhr (Aargau).

13. Severability

Invalid provisions do not affect validity of remaining provisions; statutory law applies instead.
